Jim Wells now manages the Spencer's Fresh Market in Morro Bay.  The store was featured in a news segment. Spencer's created its own irrigation system for the community garden.  Jim is interviewed by KSBY news in 2010.

A scene from 'My Blue Heaven' (1990).  This scene was filmed inside the Williams Bros. store with Steve Martin "shopping."  FUN FACT:  The box boy bringing the long row of shopping carts in at the beginning and then carrying out Steve Martin's groceries is not an actor but an actual Williams Bros. employee and former bagging champion, Mike Doty.
